COMPANY HISTORY & ASSOCIATES
Pragmatic Improvement began operations in May 2003 and was immediately commissioned by several high profile Australian and New Zealand Corporations to coordinate the implementation of Continuous Improvement within their organisations.
Our Company was founded by Derek Pangbourne, a Master Black Belt with over 20 years experience in the military, pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. His success in delivering business benefits is the foundation upon which Pragmatic Improvement is built.
We have more than 15 Associates working as full time consultants, with extensive experience at multiple levels in organisations. Our Associates are all certified and either Master Black Belts or Black Belts in Six Sigma, certified Lean practitioners, or Organisational Psychologists.
We believe our consulting is extremely effective because our Associates not only train and coach staff, but also run projects to effectively demonstrate the success of the methodology.
